The Jackson County Arts Council decided to try something different this holiday season. Rather than feature a single artist in the Rotunda Gallery for the months of December and January, we decided to host a group show where multiple artists are featured.
This way, artists who may not have enough pieces to fill a full gallery, or who are looking for additional exposure, or who would like another way to highlight their work outside of traditional holiday pop-ups and craft fairs can participate.
JCAC is thrilled to announce we have 11 artists across multiple mediums participating in the Group Show:
- Mary DeHart Bennett
- Lori DeLozier
- Amelia Alyce Doll
- Raina Kranz-Kaplan
- Faith L Long
- Jacob Long
- Joshua Aaron Murch
- Emily Powell
- Cynthia Sanger
- Sarah Spann
- Gayle Barker Woody
The reception for the show will be held on Tuesday, December 20th, from 5:30-7 pm at the Rotunda Gallery in the Jackson County Public Library. Snacks and drinks will be served. Starting at 6:30 pm the Library will host their annual “Caroling on the Historic Library Steps” event, where Phil and Gayle Woody, Cathy Arps, and friends will sing traditional Christmas Carols. Both events are free and open to the public.
